Marks & Spencer using the Better Places for People Metrics Framework
Posted August 8, 2016
In this video excerpt, Zoe Young, Property Plan A Project Manager at Marks & Spencer, talks about the role M&S have played in the retail arm of the Better Places for People Campaign, which aims to create retail spaces that support the health, wellbeing and productivity of customers and employees.
M&S have retrospectively applied the framework to a store as part of the pilot. You can read more about this process in their case studies on our website, which have started to identify links between the environmental performance of a store, and the experience of customers and colleagues. This year, they want to apply elements of framework to the entire estate to establish any portfolio wide trends.
You can learn more about Plan A, which outlines M&S’ ethical and environmental goals here.
And don’t worry, we’ll be hearing more from M&S on their efforts to improve health and wellbeing in their stores over the coming months!
