Beth is a Director within the Upstream Sustainability Services team at JLL, providing strategic advice to a range of leading European property companies, REITs and investors.
With her 15 years of experience in corporate sustainability and responsible investment she has significant understanding of best practices in the integration of sustainability factors into business and investment decision-making, and a long-term perspective on the evolution of sustainability reporting initiatives, including CDP, EPRA / Inrev, GRI, IR, DJSI / FTSE4Good, UN PRI, GRESB, UK CRC and UK mandatory carbon reporting.
Previous positions include the Research Programme Manager for The Climate Group, and Director of Research for Europe at the SRI research house Innovest Strategic Value Advisors, now part of MSCI.
Beth holds a BSc in Environmental Sciences from UEA, an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and the Investment Management Certificate. She is a member of CFA UK and of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability.
Recent publications include: ‘Real Estate at the Heart of Sustainable Business’ and ‘The Big Eight for Real Estate’, and Beth also remains involved in the ongoing World Green Building Council implementation programme to promote occupier health, wellbeing and productivity in property, following the successful 2014 research project on the topic.
