World Green Building Council
The World Green Building Council is a network of national green building councils in more than one hundred countries, making it the world’s largest international organisation influencing the green building marketplace.
Its mission is to strengthen Green Building Councils in member countries by championing their leadership and connecting them to a network of knowledge, inspiration and practical support. With 100,000 buildings and almost one billion square meters of green building space registered, the influence and impact of this global network is a significant force for social and environmental change.
WorldGBC believes that we need green buildings for the health of our planet and of ourselves – and we believe there is a business case to support this. By creating tools to enable occupants to monetise the benefits of healthier buildings, increasing awareness around their human and environmental benefits, and providing resources and information to support their delivery, we can further the goal of the widespread uptake of greener, healthier buildings.
